Web and Social Media
In order to have the inside scoop of what is going on around Kearney High School someone has to stream the daily news announcements on YouTube. I have to stream the show on the Bulldog Broadcasting Network most everyday because not everyone in my class knows how to. When I was a sophomore, my former journalist advisor taught me and then my current advisor came in and I have had to a leap of faith in getting the news out in a timely manner.

Here are the steps on how I stream the show from the Tricaster:
Pre step 1:Make sure everything in the playlist is correct
1.Go to web browser
2.Change the video to the correct date
3.Make sure autoplay and playlist are on
4.Stream the show
5.Tell my advisor that the show is ready for the school to watch it!
In the Beginning
Social Media sparked my interest for sports broadcasting and sports journalism in general. I grew up watching YouTubers who would make their own podcast or show then I decided to make my own while in Middle School. I usually reported on the Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals, and the Oklahoma Sooners. These teams were my favorite sports teams growing up and still are. I created a show on YouTube called "The Sports Morning Show" which wasn't filmed in the morning rather in the late evening. My YouTube channel helped pique my curiosity for this field.
